Empties: #1

These are a few products I've finished and collected over the last 3 months.  1. Organic Care Nourish Conditioner I've been using this conditioner for a year now mainly because it's so cheap. You can get it at Safeway and Priceline for around $3. But I continue to repurchase it because it smells like coconut and macadamia and makes my hair nice and soft. Its also environmentally friendly and doesn't contain harsh chemicals. I HIGHLY recommend checking it out.  Repurchase: Definitely 2. Derma 3 in 1 Facial Wipes This is exclusive to Coles. You can buy it for $2 for 25 wipes but they always have 3 for 2 sales. It's good value for an awesome product. I don't wear liquid foundation so I can say anything about that. I do however where a lot of eye makeup. It does a decent job, removing about 98%, however it doesn't remove waterproof mascara :( But other than that it gets the job done. It feels really fresh on the skin, the wipes don't dry ou...

My Experience with www.sleekmakeup.com

Check out the sleek haul:  http://beautylicious-yollipop.blogspot.com.au/2012/08/wwwsleekmakeupcom-haul.html So what is sleek? For those who don't know it is a makeup brand based in London. Sleek is a drugstore brand, very affordable and high quality from what I've seen on youtube. You can buy sleek cosmetics from London which means that we obviously can't get it in Australia. And so begins my journey with  www.sleekmakeup.com . In order to make a purchase online you'll need to make an account with them. This takes a few seconds, not a big deal.  14th of August at about 9.30pm Australian time which is about 12.30pm London time: I placed my order. The process was very simple, just follow the steps (you're reading this post so you'll be fine). They don't allow you to pay through paypal  so you'll need a mastercard, visa, visa debit card etc.  I received an email stating that my order has been accepted (at this point the package hasn'...

Review: UBU Shady Lady Eyeshadow Brush (No. 30)

Claim: "All eyes on you baby. Love your lids with this short synthetic bristle brush perfectly molded to your eye shape." If you want a brush to apply eyeshadow all over the lid then this is NOT the brush for that.  There are a few reasons why it's a bad all over the eye lid brush.  1) Bristles are not flexible  2) Bristles are too firm  3) Bristles from the base are fairly thick but as it tapers to the top it becomes too thin therefore not enough eyeshadow can get onto the brush to actually be applied smoothly all over the lid.  However, this brush is really good for applying eyeshadow on the lower lash line. So if your looking to set your eyeliner with eyeshadow this is a handy tool. It is the right amount of thickness and firmness to apply eyeshadow on the lash line.  Cons: - Doesn't do what it claims Pros: - Great for lower lash line - Cheap  - PURPLE Rating: 2.5  Where and how much: K-mart - $6.00 What's your f...

Review: Essence Quick Dry Top Coat

Image: Essence Quick Dry Top Coat Claims: "Extremely fast drying top coat. Protects your nail polish against chipping" How long would you expect a "quick dry" top coat to dry, 60 seconds maybe 2 minutes? Well don't expect too much from this top coat. Every time I've used this top coat I've had problems with my nail polish smudging or sheet lines when I wake up.  The top coat does dry fairly quickly however the nail polish remains soft and smudges if your not careful. I tried it a few times but the last time I tried it I left it for an hour and a half to fully set and without doing anything that would ruin the polish before going to sleep but when I woke up my nail polish had sheet marks. All I can say is disappointing.  Yes it is a cheap product but from essence I expected a lot better. I've used a few essence products but this was the WORST.  In terms of protection from chipping I don't believe it makes much of a different. My tes...

Review: Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm (Australian Version)

From the maybelline website: Say goodbye to basic lip balm and rediscover the lips you were born to have! - Lips are instantly moisturised for up to 8 hours. - Contains active care ingredients, such as shea butter and centella. - Vitamin Complex delivering powerful anti-oxidants. - SPF 20 for protection against harmful UV rays. - After 4 weeks lips are deeply repaired, completely reborn. Guaranteed. Image from left to right: menthol, anti-oxidant berry, energizing orange, mango pie, smoothing cherry and protecting berry (Limited Edition)  First off the obvious how cute is the packaging? The colours are soooo cute and pretty. Love it!!!!! I really like the baby lips, it's moisturising, goes on really smooth and looks glossy when you apply it. They smell okay (the menthol one smells like vicks) and I find them to be longer lasting than normal lip balms given your not eating or drinking (they last for about 1-2 hours). The menthol flavour has t...
