Review: Epic Nail Essentials Foil Kit

I've had little experience with nail foils particularly because my first experience was so bad I didn't want to try another. Overall I have to say the concept behind this product is good but the execution not so much.

Designs
There are a lot of options to choose from. There is the option of getting single patterns or you can get a kit which has 6 designs or there is an ultimate pack with all the designs. So you are bound to find a something you like.

 Nail Foil Kit - Essentials

What you get

Application
If you're not good at doing nails in general then you might have difficulties with this product. The first time I tried it only the edges of the nail foil transferred onto my nails. The second time worked a lot better, but there was still a small chunk that didn't transfer onto my nails. There are instructions that come with the pack as well as their website. They were easy to follow but despite this I still had difficulties get the pattern to transfer to my nails.

Tips for application;
1. Cut the roll into a square big enough to fit your nail so there is minimal wastage

2. Make sure that the glue is CLEAR otherwise it will not stick
3. Hold the foils on your nail for a minute or so to help with the transfer
4. It doesn't work on bare nails despite claims to work on bare nails
5. APPLY A TOP COAT

Longevity
The pattern faded after one day without a top coat. Depending on the quality of the top coat it may last for longer but for me it lasted 2 days max.

I really wanted to like this and I do but getting the pattern to transfer is difficult but when it does work it is BEAU-TI-FUL. I will say that you get a lot in each roll so there is a lot to practise with and for the cost I think it's worth it.

First off the obvious how cute is the packaging? The colours are soooo cute and pretty. Love it!!!!!
I really like the baby lips, it's moisturising, goes on really smooth and looks glossy when you apply it. They smell okay (the menthol one smells like vicks) and I find them to be longer lasting than normal lip balms given your not eating or drinking (they last for about 1-2 hours). The menthol flavour has that tingling feeling which I enjoy but if you don…

Review: Dettol Revitalise Antibacterial Hand Wash with Raspberry and Pomegranate

Today I'll be doing a review on a product concerning personal hygiene. We all know that in winter people are more susceptible to the flu and colds, especially if you haven't had a flu shot (like me...). So in order to lower chances of catching a cold, hand hygiene is vital. Because a lot of the time hands are doing all the work germs can spread very fast, therefore to prevent the spread of germs, soap is one of the easiest ways to ensure you're not spreading germs to family and friends.

I had the opportunity to try a Dettol product new to the market. Dettol has a number of versions of their new hand washes so there will most likely be one for you. They include; Delight with Honey & Apricot, Replenish with Shea Butter & Rose Water and of course revitalise with Raspberry and Pomegranate.

Dettol's Revitalise Antibacterial Hand Wash with Raspberry and Pomegranate has the most beautiful fruity scent. Honestly is smells EXACTLY like raspberry and pomegranate, it is d…
