Empties: #4

1. Guci Envy Me EDT
Notes: Peony, Pink Pepper, Pineapple, Pomegranate, Lychee, Sandalwood, Musk
I would describe this scent as floral, somewhat sweet (not overly sweet), classy and a bit tangy. The longevity is not that great it's about 2-3 hours. I got this perfume a long time ago, at the time I enjoyed the smell but my taste has since changed and I'm not really a fan anymore. But the bottle is beautiful.

Would I repurchase? No

2. AVON Wink EDT
Top notes: pink grapefruit, cranberry, raspberry, red currant, black currant, blueberry
Mid notes: freesia, calla lily, jasmine, water lily, lotus, rose
Base notes: blonde wood, musk
This scent is extremely fruity and sweet. This is the kind of scent I love but my problem with this is the longevity, it literally lasts an hour on me. Terrible... just terrible. I'm looking for a perfume that suits my taste but that also lasts all day. I think this is discontinued but you can find it on ebay. But because it doesn't last long I wouldn't recommend it.

Would I repurchase? No

3. Beyonce Heat EDT
Top Notes: passion fruit, blood orange and cherry
Middle Notes: hibiscus, mango blossom and orchid
Base Notes: teak wood, amber and musk
LOVE LOVE LOVE
It smells so fruity and sweet and feminine. I love it. It's affordable and though the lasting power is not 100% about 3-4 hours it's not too bad. Ahhhh I love it.

Would I repurchase? Ahh hells yeah (already have)

4. Curious by Britney Spears EDP
Notes: magnolia, tuberose, vanilla-infused musk, sandalwood, jasmine, and pear
This is a good mix of fruity and floral. It's a sweet, young scent which I really like it. At the end of the day you're left with a more musky scent which I find really pleasant. The longevity is great it lasts all day (6-7 hours). It's one of those perfumes that you can smell on your clothes when you finish wearing it.

Would I repurchase? Definitely (already have)

5. Smith Street Market Scented Body Wash - Milk Bottles

I received as a Christmas present a while ago. I did a review on the other scent here. I have the same opinions about this body wash as I did with the other scent. It doesn't lather properly, it was quite average however I did prefer this scent. It smelt like marshmallows which was nice but not a favourite.

Would I repurchase? No

6. Lux Velvet Touch Body Wash - Peach and Whipped Cream
Honestly this smells like soap with a hint of peach (like a smidgen). It felt nice on the skin, it lathered okay and it was cheap. You can find this at The Reject Shop for $2-2.50. So if you're looking for a new body wash and you're on a budget this is pretty good. However I wouldn't repurchase it because I like trying different body washes. I get bored of the same scent.

Would I repurchase? No

7. Garnier Deodorant Invisi Mineral - Cool Energising Fragrance
(Bluey Green bottle)
I really enjoy this series of deodorants because they work really well at keeping me smelling fresh. And they also have a really nice price point. I really like this scent, it's light and fresh and doesn't interfere with my perfume (because I want my perfume to be more prominent). Another plus is that it doesn't leave any white marks which is always a thumbs up in my book.

Would I repurchase? Yes

8. Garnier Deodorant Invisi Mineral - 48hr Max Protect
The scent of this is a bit grassy (I really don't know how to describe this one) but not in a bad way. Once again it does what I want which is to keep me fresh. So yeah love the line of deodorants and will keep purchasing them but only at half price ;) However this particular scent isn't one of my favourites so I probably won't repurchase this scent.

Would I repurchase? No

9. Cussons Pure - Grapefruit & Lime Body Wash
Smells exactly like it says...like grapefruit and lime but the grapefruit scent is slightly stronger. It smells amazing, it lathers nicely and it's cheap. This is another I got from The Reject Shop for $2-3.

Would I repurchase? Maybe

Review: wotnot Natural Organic Facial Wipes

For a long time you could only buy the wotnot facial wipes online. But you can now find them in Priceline for $7.99 or with the travel case (like shown above) for $9.99. While it is very pricey for make-up wipes, personally I think it is so worth it. If in doubt wait for the 40% off skincare sale. Some important things to note, these wipes are: "Certified organic pink grapefruit and petitgrain Certified organic papaya (pawapaw) Certified organic rosehip 100% natural and biodegradable fibre Free from alcohol and artificial perfumes Free from parabens and petrochemicals Ideal for sensitive skin" The wipes are large, moist and very refreshing. They have an earthy type smell which is not off putting...I swear. So don't be afraid if you're sensitive to smells. Not only are these wipes made up of amazing ingredients but they do the job and do it well. I wear light to medium make-up on my face and more medium-heavy eye make-up. And I find that the

Haul: Gerard Cosmetics

In early March I came across a promotion for Gerard Cosmetics which included 2 lip glosses for $20 since I've been wanting to try these products for a while I decided to give their products a try. While I was on the site I checked out the sale section and there was a lipstick and lip gloss combo which was also $20. So I thought perfect... 4 lip products for $40 plus free shipping. In Australian dollars it cost approximately $54.  The colours I bought were; 1. Lipstick in Nude 2. Lip glosses in Nude (light pink nude), Deduction (dark and vampy) and Salmon (peachy orange)  My order came in less then 2 weeks, which was amazing. I couldn't believe how quick it came. However when I received my order I noticed something odd about the lip gloss in Seduction. It looked almost as if the tube was half empty. So I sent an email about my concerns and they responded to me within a day. And this was their response. "Hi love, We are so sorry this has happened :( Ple

Review: Optiva Aqua-Capture Serum and Nourishing Night Cream

So firstly my skin type is dry/normal. I'm prone to hormonal breakouts. Every time I get a pimple it scars whether or not I've popped it (gross I know). So my main issue are my scars. But like I mentioned I do have somewhat dry skin and I really do feel like these have helped with my dry patches and preventing my skin from flaking.  1. Optiva Aqua-Capture Serum  30ml $24 " This super concentrated skin hydrating serum has a light formulation, which is easy to apply and works deep into the skin. The serum strengthens the skin barrier in just two weeks improving its tolerance for the long term. Specially formulated to offer an immediate comforting and calming effect. Apply after cleansing and before moisturising both morning and night. Clinically proven to reveal healthier skin in just two weeks. " Overall I think this is a really nice serum, but honestly I'm not really a serum girl and this product hasn't converted me. I feel like it's an un
